Disease plagues many villages, directly resulting from inaccessible clean water. In fact, just over half of South Sudan’s population has access to water that won’t make them sick. Many women are forced to walk miles for water, inhibiting them from attending church and getting an education.
But we’re working to change that.
We’re drilling water wells throughout South Sudan, providing thirsty people with pure and refreshing water that sustains life. Wells deepen our relationship with community leaders and offer tangible expressions of God’s love.
Meet Mary Awol:
Wells typically cost $10,000 per well, with an incremental increase in tougher areas. Want to fundraise for a well? Contact Ken Kapp at firstname.lastname@example.org.
