Every Village offers an avenue for giving non-cash assets to support our ministry. Non-cash assets can include cryptocurrency, investments, real estate, and business interests, allowing for a greater ability to give, as well as, the added benefit of greater tax efficiency.
Every Village uses TrustBridge as an intermediary for cryptocurrency gifts. Through this partner, Every Village is able to receive a wide range of valid cryptocurrencies, which will be liquidated by TrustBridge and the funds transferred to Every Village. This is a great way to avoid capital gains taxes on your appreciated cryptocurrency.
Donate long-term appreciated securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds) directly to Every Village. Instead of selling your appreciated securities and donating the after-tax proceeds, you may be able to potentially eliminate the capital gains tax and take a charitable deduction in the amount of the fair market value of the shares.
